Print Spooler Crashing - sdimf32.dll

If your getting this error, then your print spooler is probably crashing frequently, and making all the printers disappear.

Here is my solution. Use at your own risk, this may cause problems on your PC. Back up everything and confirm backup before applying this fix.

Click Start then Run, then type in:
regsvr32 /u C:\WINDOWS\system32\spool\drivers\w32x86\3\SDIMF32.DLL
Press OK

Browser to C:\WINDOWS\system32\spool\drivers\w32x86\3\
and rename file to SDIMF32.dll.old

Cheers, josh

PS. Keep an eye on your applications for faults, but I do not think SDMIF32.dll is a dependancy for any other program.
