SBS2003 - Out of Disk Space

SBS 2003 needs disk space all the time when you start with a small partition.

Here is some things that will help:

1. Move the Print Spool folder

(Printers and Faxes, then Right click, Server Properties, then Advanced)

Restart the Print Spooler Service

2. Delete files from:

C:\Windows\Temp
C:\Documents and Settings\%username%\Local Settings\Temp (Check all user folders)

3. Check your WMI logs (can grow large)

4. Clean out the Windows Distribution Folder

Stop Automatic Updates service
Clean out this folder: %systemroot%\SoftwareDistribution\download

Then start the service again

5. Purge Monitoring folders by re-running the Monitoring Wizard

6. Move Data folders from C:

WARNING!

NB. Make sure to set your exclusions from antivirus scanning if you move things!!!!

I can't find any other ways to free disk space.
